Mine - Feelings

Things i want to focus on in the video and dance, the feel I want to get across to show what it would feel like to work in the mine, how the men felt, the environment, the industry.

Sites I’m Not Going To Use…

I am not going to be using the Birkhill Clay mill even though it is perfect, with many different rooms it is being knocked down so it is more i cant use it.

Im not going to use the Woodland Mill as alot of it is fenced of and not intirely sure if it still in use or not. It looks empty but there is a sign that looks really new on the building as well.

I am also not going to use the flour mill as the original building is no longer there and a new one has been built there.

Also don’t think I will use the lighthouse but it may be kept as a back up.

Fashion collaboration project with photographer Yin Chao and Editor Ujin Zhao for Chinese fashion magazine Vision. These collages are inspired by the work of the late Lee Alexander McQueen for a special edition issue about this talented fashion designer. Ashkan Honarvar has incorporated different aspects in this series that relate with the work of Lee Alexander McQueen. Like the fascination with animals and motion, but also showing contradictions between strength and fragility.
